OGLESBY – Illinois Valley Community College will resume face-to-face classroom and lab instruction in various summer session courses beginning Monday, July 13 and when fall classes start Friday, Aug. 14.  Students will receive hands-on instruction in career and technical programs such as welding, automotive, electrical, manufacturing and Computer Numerical Control, among others.
“We will carefully adhere to Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines to maintain student and instructor safety,” said Dean of Workforce Development Shane Lange.
In late June, health professions such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), dental assisting, therapeutic massage, Emergency Medical Services and others began meeting in-person in labs and classrooms while following social distancing directives.  For course information from IVCC, call Records at (815) 224-0447.
