OGLESBY – Illinois Valley Community College hosts its 11th annual Holiday Art and Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28 in the Peter Miller Community Technology Center. Fair coordinator Lorri Foockle said, “We have quite an array of items for holiday shopping with over 30 artists and crafters. Many items are handmade and commercial products are available as well. We also have a large raffle with items donated by this year’s participants.” Items for sale include jewelry, holiday gift baskets, ink paintings, hand-painted windows, woodwork, organic beauty products, florals, a variety of scarves, wreaths, afghans and blankets, blown glass, infant and toddler clothing and accessories, handmade greeting cards, painted gourds, wind chimes and more. Sponsored by the IVCC Support Staff Service Project Team, the fair is one of the events to raise money for IVCC’s Connect to Complete award.
