OGLESBY – Illinois Valley Community College will move to virtual delivery of all courses and services beginning Monday, March 23. The main campus and Ottawa Center will be closed to the public for the remainder of the spring semester ending May 16.

College operations will continue but the public, students and non-essential employees will be prohibited from entering the campus or Ottawa Center without approval from a member of the senior leadership team.

“With the first coronavirus case reported today in La Salle County, we believe this is the best course of action to keep our campus safe,” said IVCC President Jerry Corcoran. “It also aligns with recommendations from Gov. Pritzker and the Illinois Community College Board.”

Classes resume Monday online-only. IVCC urges students to check their IVCC email account and if new to Blackboard, an online learning app, practice logging in.
