PERU – Applicants are being sought for an opportunity to purchase a newly constructed home with a low-interest affordable mortgage loan. Habitat for Humanity of LaSalle, Bureau, and Puntnam Counties are looking for those in need of adequate housing who are willing to work with them to add a home to the city of Peru. There will be two informational sessions about the application process held at the Miller Community Center at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Individuals, as well as families, may apply, and applicants must be either US citizens or permanent-resident aliens with continuous employment over the next five years.
