PAW PAW – A fire late Friday night destroyed a building in Rollo.   According to the Paw Paw Fire Department, they were called around 11 PM to the 2300 Block of Railroad Street for a structure fire.   A multi-box alarm was sounded to battle the blaze, which engulfed the two story brick building.   Crews remained on the scene for seven hours.  Assisting Paw Paw were Earlville, Shabbona, Leland, Mendota, Compton and West Brooklyn Fire Departments.  The building was a total loss and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.  The Paw Paw Fire Department noted they were thankful to their volunteers and the surrounding departments that assisted when called.
