BLOOMINGTON – In the latest yearly survey of prices for farmland across the state, little to no change has occurred. That’s according to the 2018 Illinois Farmland Values and Lease Trends Report released last week. Northern Illinois ground values were down 1-2 percent to around $11,000 per acre. Cash rent prices per acre ranged from $295 to $325 per acre in the northern part of the state; $300 to $350 per acre for the central region, and; $160 to $325 in the southern counties.
