Dwight Teacher Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges

DWIGHT – A Dwight High School teacher was charged with Criminal Sexual Assault by an Authority Figure on Friday after an ongoing investigation.  According to the Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress 34-year-old Kathryn A. Patten was taken into custody and posted 10% of her $25,000 bond Saturday.   Authorities allege the victim was an underage male and a student at Dwight High School.  The Livingston County State’s Attorney’s Office, Dwight Police Department and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services assisted in the investigation.
