Dekalb Co. citizens invited to become members of Illinois Sheriff’s Association

SYCAMORE – Illinois Sheriff’s Association and Sheriff Roger Scott announced that Dekalb County Citizens are being invited to become Associate Members of the Illinois Sheriff’s Association(ISA).
The funds derived from the membership are used by the ISA to provide legislative support on key criminal justice issues, sheriff training, scholarships to local high school graduates and Special Olympics.
Contributions are tax deductible, and unlike other organizations in our state, the membership program does not solicit by telephone.
“With government funding becoming increasingly difficult to secure, the membership drive has taken on greater importance than ever before, said Sheriff Scott. “The funding is vital to helping us carry out our mission of making our communities safer places to live, work and play.”
