Deactivation of Paw Paw High School Discussion Set For Tuesday

PAW PAW – The Indian Creek Board of Education will be having a special meeting Tuesday at their gym in Shabbona to talk about the potential deactivation of Paw Paw High School. In a statement released by the Indian Creek School Board, the special session will focus on the dwindling enrollment of the Paw Paw High School and the benefits of absorbing those students into District 425.
In order to fully merge the districts, however, a referendum would be required on the November 6th, 2018 ballot for Paw Paw residents to vote in favor of deactivating the district. If approved, students in the fall of 2019 would begin attending Indian Creek High School
