SANDWICH – Credit card skimming devices have been found at a gas station in southern DeKalb County.  In a release by the Sandwich Police Department, they, along with the Illinois Department of Agriculture, discovered the devices on pumps at a Mobil Station on US Route 34.   A card skimmer is a device that mimics or intercepts transaction details and sends the information to a third party.  A total of four devices were recovered and will be sent off for forensic examination.  Anyone who has experienced fraudulent charges or thinks they may have been a victim are asked to contact the Sandwich Police Department to make a report.
