SUBLETTE – A woman was saved from serious harm Wednesday afternoon due to the quick work of dispatchers with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. According to authorities, a call was received before 6 PM for a female choking who was turning blue and had become unresponsive. With instructions from telecommunicator Deb Killian and Jesica Knipple, the family was able to clear the airway by administering chest thrusts to dislodge the object in her throat. Sublette EMS arrived on the scene within 90 seconds to find the patient no longer in distress.
