LASALLE – The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team arrested a Chicago man Thursday on Crack and Heroin charges. They say that around 12:30 PM they conducted a traffic stop on Charters Street after a several month investigation into alleged drug sales by TRI-Dent. Taken into custody was 23-year-old Leeonta T. “Smoke” Patton. Authorities alleged that Patton on several occasions delivered over one gram of purported heroin and over one gram of purported crack cocain to TRI-Dent agents. He is facing two counts of Felony Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Patton was taken to the LaSalle County Jail where he is being held on $500,000 bond.
