Bureau County remains at warning level for COVID-19; reports one death Saturday

PRINCETON – The Bureau, Putnam, & Marshall County Health Department reported five new cases of the novel coronavirus and one death Saturday. They announced that a Bureau County man in his 70’s was the latest to pass away from complications of COVID-19. Five new cases were also announced, as Bureau County remains in a warning level from the Illinois Department of Public Health, one of over counties statewide. In the last seven days, there have been forty-seven new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Bureau County, six new cases in Marshall County and four new cases in Putnam County.
