Bathroom and Shelter coming to Rotary Park this summer


 
LASALLE – Restroom and a shelter for Rotary Park in LaSalle is the next phase in the city’s expansion project. The city approved bids for the two upcoming projects totaling around $260,000. City Engineer Brian Brown says the park’s restrooms will be a hands-free facility. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is funding a portion of the project. City Engineer Brian Brown hopes to get the two projects completed by Labor Day. The two projects at Rotary Park is a part of the major $800,000 expansion project that includes a pollinator garden, an ADA compliant fishing pier, and an 18-hole disc golf course.
