HENNEPIN – The finances of Clifford Andersen were brought into the spotlight Wednesday at the Putnam County Courthouse. Misty Prutter, a former Sun Loans manager, said that the defendant had 15 high interest loans with the agency. She described Andersen as highly energetic, chatty and always paid his loans on time. Andersen is standing trial, accused of the concealment and murder of his sister-in-law, Deborah Dewey. Brenda Jensen of Eureka Savings Bank recalls working with the victims retirement account. The prosecution noted that substantial amounts were taken out between 2015 and 2016. Jensen stated she asked the victim if she was doing remodeling, and Dewey replied saying she was helping someone out.
