SPRINGFIELD – Four area counties still remain at a warning level for COVID-19 according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.   Lee County has the highest positivity rate in the region, coming in at 9.4%, followed by Putnam at 8.9% and Livingston and 8.2%.  DeKalb County is under the state recommended positivity rate, at 7.4%, however, their Emergency Room Visit percentage is at 4.1%, which helped trigger the warning for that county.  Lee and DeKalb County are currently under a COVID-19 mitigation order by the state, which prohibits indoor restaurant dining and other activities to help limit the spread of the novel coronavirus.  Statewide a total of 28 counties are at a warning level from the IDPH.
