A Christmas Miracle: Streator man receives kidney, makes it home in time for Christmas

 
STREATOR – A Streator man and his family received their Christmas wish, a new kidney and home just in time to spend the holiday together. Lance Moritz, an IVCC AG student from Streator was on the donors list days before the news he was getting a new kidney. Despite a second surgery after his transplant due to set backs, his mother Mary says the family made it home on Christmas Eve. She says Lance has a long road of recovery ahead and thanks the community for the outpouring of support.
