AMBOY – Lost pets in Amboy will now have a better chance at finding their way home thanks to a donation of specialized equipment. The Amboy Police Department and several other local Lee County law enforcement agencies received a microchip pet scanner through a program called CHIPS – Cops Helping ID Pets in the Sauk Valley. These devices will help return lost pets to their owners quicker.
