PONTIAC – Nineteen more residents of Livingston County have tested positive for COVID-19 and a man in his 80’s has passed away from complications related to the disease. The Livingston County Health Department reported on Monday that the total number of dead has reached 48. They also announced that although the county will not be one of the first in the state to receive the new vaccine from Pfizer, they expect to get their first shots in the next few weeks. The initial doses will be first distributed to local hospitals for high risk workers in health care settings and Emergency Medical Services.
