CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Public Health on Saturday announced eighteen new cases, with infections found in Cumberland, Dupage, St. Claire and Woodford counties. That brings the total cases in the state to 64 of Covid 19.
Governor J.B. Pritzker thanked communities for taking guidelines to prevent the spread of the Corona virus, however he was dismayed at large gatherings occurring, especially with younger people. He emphasized how those who may only experience mild symptoms they may be spreading to to others.
The Governor also asked that anyone experiencing potential symptoms to call a healthcare provider instead of going in person to a hospital.
