OTTAWA, PRINCETON – Local health departments report 17 recent infections from the novel coronavirus. The LaSalle County Health Department Sunday afternoon reports 11 new confirmed cases, while the Bureau, Putnam and Marshall County Health Departments report 6 new cases in Bureau County on Saturday afternoon. The Illinois Department of Public Health on Sunday said 1,604 people have recently contracted the virus, and 14 people have been reported to have died in the state from the disease in the past 24 hours.
In LaSalle County, the new cases reported Sunday include:

• (2) Males, 20’s
• (3) Males, 30’s
• Female, 30’s
• Female, 40’s
• Male, 50’s
• Male, 60’s
In Bureau County, the new cases, which are all recovering at home, reported on Saturday include:
– Two female teenagers
– One male in his 20’s
– One male in his 40’s
– One female in her 60’s
– One male in his 70’s
