We had friends over on Sunday to hang at the house. Well, we were doin the hang out thing to exercise our dogs. It started to rain before we went to the dog park. If it’s snowing, fine. If it were cold, fine, but wet is noooooo good. Then little Stanlee gets muddy and it’s not regular muddy. It’s super duper muddy. It’s like he knows we don’t want him to get muddy and he splashes in every puddle there is. Then he comes over and stands on my shoe. Not only is he muddy, now I am too. So, we wanted to avoid that.
We did avoid the mud. What we didn’t avoid was our friend Lucy’s wee wee. She made good use of our carpet as a pee place. By the time we got her outside, she had already let her bladder go and it was all cleaned out. The last time she visited she did that but it wasn’t as bad. This time, oh my goodness, she went and went and went. It was like “WILL THIS END!”
The worst part about allllllllll of this is, while letting her bladder go go go, my bare foot was caught off guard. Those two days of Karate class didn’t help much because my reflex was slow, grasshopper. So, there was a little bit of showering and rug doctoring that needed to be done after lovey Lucy left, but we survived.

I can’t tell you the joy I feel while watching TV. It allows me to forget the days events and vegetate. That is until a cerebral show like Steven Seagal’s Lawman comes along. I have to figure out what the heck he is saying and then figure out why he said what he did.Oh, boy what fun with Steven Seagal.
First, did Steven Seagal eat his twin?? He sure looks a bit hefty, ok, ok, a lot hefty. I really dug hin in the late 80’s or early 90’s with that string of martial arts movies that are still pretty darn good today. That was like the first three. Then he got, well, large and started taking every awful role out there and apparently took his paychecks in food. Back the donut truck up to the Seagal residence.
In his newest reality TV adventure, he pretends to be a sheriff and woh, mama, it’s a train wreck. I would suggest that you watch this, in fact tape every episode and we can laugh together.

Please think good thoughts for my Hound Dog Stanlee. Our lil friend got into an inhaler last night and we had to rush him to the Vet. He is very sick and we’re hoping & praying for a full recovery. Love you Stanlee.

Check out my hound. The AWF in Iowa makes a calendar every year that features the animals they have helped get adopted. Stanlee is not only their cover hound, but he is also on the back cover AND he is also the month of February. I know what everyone is getting as a gift this year!!
Oh, also all the pictures were taken by me!! But, I had a great subject.

The government is considering extending the $8,000 credit. Let’s hope they do so Sloppy Joe is able to get more money when he buys. If they don’t extend it, I’ll be wondering why a house didn’t pop up for me that I could buy in time. Don’t they have elves or something that could build a house, without low ceilings, elves ARE short, that is in my price range and is totally updated?? If they don’t, they need to make some. Santa is cornering the market on working elves and I want it stopped. I don’t mind if they build the house and it would need a little updating. The houses I’ve seen are ridiculous, ridiculously priced, ridiculous looking, just ridiculous. I wanted to see how many times I could use ridiculous in a sentence and it didn’t work out like I had originally planned. It was a ridiculous idea but I tried and it turned out ridiculously bad.
Anyway, let’s hope the tax credit is extended. I guess the bill has many layers to it and it is being held up, right now, because of an extension of unemployment benefits for workers that is tied in with the tax credit benefit. Down with the government, if the tax credit isn’t extended. Unless I need soome help from them, then it’s up with the Government.
